Stasis

A state in which an individual, Culture, or society stays the same and, therefore, makes no Progress; a state of ignoring problems and producing no solutions.

Stasis is caused by the absence of Knowledge growth. It produces Suffering — unresolved problems accumulate. Stasis is not a safe default; it is actively dangerous because problems left unsolved worsen.
