Epistemology

The branch of philosophy that deals with what Knowledge is and how it grows.

Epistemology is foundational to every other field. Getting it wrong — through Inductivism, Empiricism, Bayesian Epistemology, or Justificationism — cascades into errors across science, Morality, politics, and education. Critical Rationalism is the epistemology that correctly identifies Conjecture and Criticism as the mechanism of knowledge growth.
