Referring to ideas that are not expressed in words or equations.

Inexplicit knowledge is often underappreciated. Institutions relying heavily on inexplicit knowledge are vulnerable to rash attacks — Revolutionary changes that destroy embedded solutions without understanding them. Much of what makes societies and individuals function well is inexplicit.
